The much anticipated Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 release date has been confirmed! What new features can you expect from the latest photo editing software from Adobe?
Adobe Lighroom 5.5 was recently released but some users still wanted to have some more functionality and features from the program and that’s what Adobe is going to give them in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6.
As reported by Cyberland, the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 release date is set on March 2015 while a beta of the program is set to be launched on September 2014.
The recently released Lightroom 5.5 supports the new mobile features and new cameras so be sure to update your current copy if you’re running LR (it’s a free upgrade through the Help menu).Lightroom Mobile 1.1 which supports the iPhone now and has several improvements to the app (including the much welcomed custom sorting). Adobe also announced that their photography plan for the Creative Cloud (Photoshop + Lightroom) now has “permanent” $9.99/month pricing.
The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 features that were recently revealed by Cyberland are simple UI tweaks that makes things more streamlined compared to 5.5 but the biggest “feature” are the stability and performance enhancements.
Cyberland reported that the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 has been greatly optimized that it runs almost 70 to 100 percent faster than Adobe Lightroom 5.5
