Brazil World Cup 2014 News: Germany Shows No Mercy for Portugal at 4-0

“Winning was our only option and the team went out there with that in mind. Thomas (Muller) did really well in attack and created a lot of space for us.”

Joachim Low, Germany coach was more than elated to have his team’s World Cup campaign kick-off in such a bright light thanks to Muller’s great efforts, June 16, at the Arena Fonte Nova Salvador.

This second one was followed by Hummels at the 32 minute of the match, then the rest was yet again Muller’s efforts. Portugal couldn’t stop the tricks his hat could pull off.

But then again, though Germany was victorious in their pursuit, it was not the kind of game everyone hoped for. Moreover, Portugal might suffer consequences if they continue to play this way.
