Critic’s Choice Television Awards is FX’s miniseries, “Fargo.” The show also brought home big awards-Best Miniseries and Best Actor for Movie/Miniseries (Billy Bob Thornton).
Meanwhile, AMC’s hit show “Breaking Bad” bagged the Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama (Aaron Paul). Oscar Award winner Matthew McConaughey, however, snagged The Best Actor for Drama Series from Bryan Cranston for HBO series “True Detectives.”
Other winners are BBC America’s “Orphan Black” (Tatiana Maslany-Best Actress In A Drama Series), CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory” (Jim Parsons-Best Actor In A Comedy Series), HBO’s “Normal Heart” (Best Movie), and NBC’s “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Falon” (Best Talk Show).

E! News reports Matt Bomer, who won Best Supporting Actor For Movie/Miniseries, being emotional while accepting his award. He thanked his husband, Simon Halls, and “Normal Heart” director, Ryan Murphy.
“To the generation we lost, I just want to say, we remember you and we honor you,” the actor said during his acceptance speech, “This is for you.”
On the other hand, Hollywood Reporter chose Allison Janney’s speech as the most memorable of the night. The “Masters Of Sex” star promptly blurted, “I just came” when she accepted her trophy.
Presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists, the fourth annual Critic’s Choice Television Awards 2014 was hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. The show made its network television debut on The CW.
