Stories are presently circulating, saying that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi face divorce rumors with smiles on their faces. According to the rumor, de Rossi is a green-eyed monster when it comes to DeGeneres’ close friendship with Sofia Vergara.
The famous couple was spotted recently this week as they walked the streets of New York City while holding hands. However, based on the reports, they have been fighting over everything. Rumors have it that de Rossi is just full up to the brim with DeGeneres’ ways to control her every single move. DeGeneres, on the other hand, is still not interested to have a baby, something that de Rossi has always wanted.
Vergara, a regular guest on the “Ellen” show, has been also involved in the headlines when it comes to the DeGeneres-de Rossi issue, especially since the two have started to have a closer relationship. According to sources, they only started to get closer right after Vergara broke off her engagement with businessman Nick Loeb. The source said, “Portia always resented Ellen’s friendship with Sofia and now that Sofia is leaning on Ellen for support, she’s even more jealous.”
Still, however, these are still rumors and have not been confirmed by anyone who officially speaks for the couple. They have both faced a lot of rumors since they were married, and each of those rumors has gone nowhere. In fact, de Rossi was rumored to be pregnant earlier this year, something that was corrected after some time.
After it was cleared that de Rossi was not pregnant, a new rumor came out, saying that the couple always fought because of her desire to have children. However, DeGeneres has always been vocal when it comes to her desire to remain childless. She was even grilled about this during her 2012 appearance on the “Tonight Show.”
She told Jay Leno, “I don’t know why people want this. I’ve said it so many times: We are not going to have a child. And they say that we’re looking for the right donor. Although, you would be a good donor, so I’ll keep in mind, just in case. I mean, it would have beautiful blue eyes, and a good sense of humor, and a good shot at an NBC show. We would do well.”
