According to , “Game of Thrones” cast Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, has a good friendship with the Scottish actor that they even developed their own language together.
“Before breakfast, he’s not the happiest chappie, but after, he’s the loveliest guy. We have our own ‘egg language’ that Rory taught me,” she said.
“If the day is getting really long, he’ll say, ‘Are we nearly finished?’ in our language,” she added. “Everyone else is like, ‘What the hell are you two doing?’ [and} we have a good laugh.”
“Game of Thrones” cast Maisie Williams also revealed that she was hurt during filming of the TV series. “During the scene where Arya stabs the Hound and the sword warps and bends. I was pushing so hard that the blade flicked up and hit me in my brow bone,” she said.
The teenager suffered a “massive lump” on her hand, prompting the director to film her from the face up for the rest of the day.
In an earlier interview with , “Game of Thrones” cast Maisie Williams provided a glimpse of how Arya Stark is going to change in season 4.
“In the season, Arya’s character darkens a lot and we see her slowly start to spiral down a scarier path. I don’t know how people are going to react to that. It’s not the Arya that we kind of knew before, not the Arya that I auditioned for, she’s now changing,” she said.
“She’s now growing up in this world and realizing that there’s one way to get things done. She’s had her training, she knows how to fight the right way, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the most effective way. She’s realizing now there’s more than one way to get things done,” said “Game of Thrones” cast Maisie Williams.
