“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson will not be playing Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr. in the Indiana Jones movie reboot.
E! Online reports that Robert Pattinson was not involved in the reboot. E! News did some research and found out that the reports from Daily Star, who first broke out the news about Pattinson as Indiana Jones was entirely false.
Daily Star reported before that the “Twilight” star was in line to take on the legendary adventurer in the reboot as an insider from the tabloid quoted that.
“Disney is looking at its long-term options for the Indiana Jones franchise.”
“They feel that the series has huge potential on many levels, starting with the films leading to other spin-offs like games which can generate more money than movies.”
“Rob is top of the initial list because he has showed his acting stripes away from Twilight.
“But the competition will be stiff.”
Speaking of competition, E! Online also reported five possible actors to replace Pattinson as Indiana Jones include Bradley Cooper, Scott Eastwood, Liam Hemsworth, Jensen Ackles, and Charlie Hunnam.
Although, it was reported before that Bradly Cooper was in talks in taking on Harrison Ford’s character in the reboot, but had to back out due to other priorities and commitments. Now that Pattison is out of the picture, Cooper could snag the opportunity once again with four other men vying for the role.
