Dinosaur fans will definitely get excited once they hear the latest “Jurassic World” spoilers! The fourth installment is slated to shoot in an eerie theme park in New Orleans. So if you live there, then here is your chance to get a glimpse of the pre-production or better yet, star in the film.
After holding casting calls in Hawaii, the producers announced that they are looking for extras for their upcoming shoot in New Orleans. The filming will take place at the Six Flags Amusement Park on June 6 and again on June 9 to 13.
The abandoned theme park is a popular location for shooting films. In fact, some scenes from the “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” were shot in that place. The cast and crew will be shooting in Louisiana for 11 weeks so they need more locals to appear in the movie.
Just recently, Colin Trevorrow confirmed that some of the “Jurassic World” spoilers were true, including the one that leaked the map of the film. The director told SlashFilm, “Jurassic World takes place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar. It sees more than 20,000 visitors every day. You arrive by ferry from Costa Rica.”
Colin explained, “It has elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. He also revealed, “And there are dinosaurs. Real ones! You can get closer to them than you ever imagined possible. It’s the realization of John Hammond’s dream, and I think you’ll want to go there.”
Speaking of dinosaurs, the “Safety Not Guaranteed” director also revealed that the dinosaur is not a mutant freak. Colin said, “It doesn’t have a snake’s head or octopus tentacles. It’s a dinosaur, created in the same way the others were, but now the genetics have gone to the next level.”
Jurassic World France News recently leaked photos of the new creature, which they called the Diabolus Rex or in short D-Rex. The website said that the new dinosaur is a DNA splicing of a T-Rex, snake, cuttlefish, and raptor. However, based on what Colin Trevorrow said, the photo is just a hoax.
We will continue to update you with more “Jurassic World” spoilers before it hits the theaters on June 12, 2015.
