“The Today Show” veteran host Katie Couric once again tied the knot with new husband John Molner in a simple ceremony held at her home in East Hampton. This is Katie Couric’s second wedding after being a single mom of two for 16 years.

Katie Couric has been with 51-year-old financier John Molner for two years and were engaged in Labor Day of last year.
According to the ceremony was filled with readings and music from the talk show host’s two daughters, Elinor Tully Monahan, 22, and Caroline Couric Monahan, 18. There were also participation from John Molner’s two children from his former wife.
Meanwhile, the groom’s nieces and nephews were the flower girls and ring bearer during the occasion.

Katie Couric’s wedding gown was embroidered with fine lace details that wa spread throughout her dress. Its high neckline reflected the journalist’s character of being classy and sophisticated. The bride then paired her wedding gown with silver strappy heels that made her truly elegant and glamorous in her special day.
The newly-wed host took to Twitter her excitement when she announced to the world this new chapter in her life as she tweeted on Saturday, “So excited to make my debut as Mrs. John Molner.”
In 1998, Katie Couric lost his first husband Jay Monahan after succumbing to colon cancer at the age of 42. This paved the way for Katie Couric to launch a crusade to combat colon cancer.
The NBC’s “The Today Show” had even featured a live colonoscopy segment to advocate information of the deadly disease.
