A new development has occurred within the Lionsgate and Saban produced Power Rangers movie reboot.
Apparently several internet sources have leaked the early proposed concept art designs of the Power Rangers costume and their Megazord.
One of these websites, MOVIEPILOT.com posted the allege concept art images of the ranger’s costume in the Power Rangers movie reboot.
The website further showed several concept art samples of the possible Megazord robots that the rangers will pilot in the movie although it stated that these were just fan made works so that the movie’s production will have an idea on what the Megazords would look like in the film.
Meanwhile, former cast member David Yost expressed his excitement on the Power Rangers reboot. Yahoo Movies conducted an interview with Yost about Lionsgate and Saban’s plans for the movie. “They obviously have a proven track record. And I will be very excited to see what they do with the franchise.”
Yost played Billy Cranston a.k.a. the Blue Ranger in the original series along with Austin St. John, Jason David Frank and many more.
Yost breaks his silence on the infamous “Power Rangers Curse” where in several of the cast members suffered many controversial and ill fates.
“I’ve never heard there’s a curse,” Yost told Yahoo. “But obviously anyone who’s stepping into the role of a Power Ranger – I just hope that they realize how exciting that is and the impact they will have on many people’s lives throughout the world and do their best to portray a good superhero.”
Finally, the release date of the Power Rangers movie reboot has been hinted as a allege Power Rangers fan page stated that the movie will be shown next year, although both Lionsgate and Saban had’nt made any official statement regarding its release date.
