NBC medical-comedy drama “Royal Pains” is set to comeback with its Season 8. Andrew Lenchewski and John P. Rogers have created the show and its Season 8 will mark the end of the series. There is no official news on further renewals and USA TV series never had life more than eight seasons.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter , co-showrunner and co-creator Andrew Lenchewski along with co-showrunner Michael Rauch shared some very fascinating insights about the plot of the coming season of “Royal Pains.” The most awaited plot of Hank’s love life will unfold in season 8.
Michael Rauch has said that Hank’s love interest makes a big part of the series. He added, “Divya has Sashi, and Evan has Paige … we’ll be having some fun with Jeremiah, Boris has Marisa and Carlos, and … Hank is the person who has everyone, and yet at the same time, no one in his life is as fulfilling as the partners the other characters have.” Michael Rauch also expressed that Hank’s love life will see constant development in the last season of “Royal Pains.”
Another interesting aspect in coming season will be of Divya and Jeremiah. In “Royal Pains” Season 7, Divya and Jeremiah go through a rollercoaster ride. Jeremiah tries to lay low after his failed business acquaintance. Raj proposes Divya but she already has to deal with a huge life change because of her grandmother’s demise.
According to CarterMatt , “Story-wise, almost everything was left up in the air after the finale. Divya and Raj may be getting engaged. Hopefully, we’re also going to see more of Jeremiah next year after seeing so little of him this season.”
“Royal Pains” season 8 will also focus on Jeremiah and Hank. There are speculations that Jeremiah will try to get back with Divya.
There is no official premiere date announced as of yet.
