Ryan Gosling And Eva Mendes: Is Rachel McAdams The Reason For Their Break Up? Actor Says ‘God Bless The Notebook, It Introduced Me To One Of My Great Loves’

After the Cannes Film Festival, break up rumors between Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes kept on coming out because the couple wasn’t seen on the red carpet together. The 33-year old actor instead made an appearance with “Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks, while her girlfriend was nowhere to be found.

The red-haired beauty was one of the lead actresses in Gosling’s film “Lost River”, which also featured Eva Mendes. That’s why it was a big puzzle for everyone as to why he wasn’t with the “Hitch” star during the festival, which made other people think that he is having an affair with the 39-year old actress.

According to reports, there is no truth about the cheating rumors because Christina Hendricks is happily married to “Body of Proof” actor Geoffrey Arend. If she wasn’t the reason why Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes weren’t together that big night, then who could it be?

Since it is the 10 anniversary of “The Notebook”, there were rumors of a reunion between Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. The two lead stars made many people fall in love and cry because of the romantic drama.

Fans are excited to see them reunite and that may rekindle the ex-lovers feelings for each other now that Eva Mendes is out of sight. Ryan dated Rachel from 2005 to 2007 and was reunited in 2008. After three years, the actor got into a relationship with the 40-year old brunette.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are on their third year as a couple, but his heart may still belong to someone else. A source told OK! Magazine,

“Rachel has been very low-key about it all. She’s played it very smart and used the whole ‘just friends’ angle to get close to Ryan again, but she 100 percent wants him back.”

The insider added, “He’s not the cheating type, but he hasn’t been honest with Eva about how much contact he has with Rachel.” Maybe Ryan still has feelings for the 35-year old actress. During an interview with GQ, the actor revealed how thankful he was for “The Notebook”.

He said, “I mean, God bless The Notebook! It introduced me to one of the great loves of my life. But people do Rachel and me a disservice by assuming we were anything like the people in that movie. Rachel and my love story is a hell of a lot more romantic than that.”

Wow! We’ve never heard him say that with his current girlfriend. Do you think that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have finally ended their relationship?
