Sandra Bullock’s alleged stalker is faced with additional charges after he was allegedly accused of stashing unnecessary weapons at home.
Joshua James Corbett pled not guilty to breaking into the home of “The Blind Side” actress, stalking and possessing a machine gun, but authorities confirmed that he indeed has a range of heavy weapons at home.
Contrary to reports, TMZ confirmed that Corbett was not carrying any weapons at the time of his arrest on June 8.
As such, officials from the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office have charged Corbett with a total of 19 felony counts, according to.
The charges include ten counts of possessing a destructive device, seven counts of possessing a machine gun and additional two counts for possessing an assault weapon.
Corbett’s bail is currently set at $2 million on top of the $185,000 bond from previous charges. He is currently held at the Los Angeles County Jail and if convicted, he may face up to 12 years in jail, E! News has said.
Previous reports confirmed that Corbett climbed the fence to try and get inside “The Proposal” actress’ home in West Los Angeles. An unidentified person called 911 and reported the incident and Corbett was immediately arrested on the scene.
The “Gravity” actress was unharmed and was sleeping at the time of the incident, her publicist confirmed.
Meanwhile, Today has reported that Corbett is obsessed with Bullock and was spotted checking out the actress’ diary or notebook and some other personal belongings at her home.
