‘Sherlock’ Actor Benedict Cumberbatch Has A Girlfriend? Masterpiece Theater Producer Confirms Rumor

“Sherlock” actor Benedict Cumberbatch is already off the market, so says Masterpiece Theater producer Rebecca Eaton who confirmed that she was playing matchmaker for the magazine “sexiest movie star.”

Masterpiece Theater producer Rebecca Eaton was part of the panel at the Cannes Lions festival where he revealed ‘Sherlock’ actor Benedict Cumberbatch’s new girlfriend.

The report by  revealed:

“That might also explain her other job: helping British hottie Benedict Cumberbatch find a new love interest. She wouldn’t say whom the “Sherlock” actor has met, but she said it’s time for all those “Cumberbitches” – the name used by his huge base of female followers – to move on.”

In May, it was reported that “Sherlock” actor Benedict Cumberbatch’s girlfriend was “Fifty Shades of Grey” cast Dakota Johnson when the pair were spotted a day after the new Anastasia Steele impressed fashion critics at the red carpet event at Met gala on May 5.

In a series of snaps published on , Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Sherlock Holmes in the series, was spotted having lunch with “Fifty Shades of Grey” cast Dakota Johnson along with a female friend at NYC restaurant.

Earlier that day, “Fifty Shades of Grey” star Dakota Johnson took a stroll with “Sherlock” actor Benedict Cumberbatch on the streets of New York. The model and daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith wore a floral dress and loafers as well as a pair of sunglasses.

Dakota Johnson, who will play the submissive Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E.L. James’ erotic novel “Fifty Shades of Grey,” also impressed during the New York’s MET gala as she wore a dark blue gown, created by Jason Wu, and long, formal gloves, LatinPost reported.

“Sherlock” actor Benedict Cumberbatch’s sexy charms earned for him a fifth spot in Glamour magazine’s “Sexiest Men of 2013” and No. 1 in Empire magazine’s “100 Sexiest Movie Stars” survey. He was also voted UK Sun’s “hottest bloke in Britain” in 2012 and 2013.
