The Flash TV Series Wally West Appearance Confirmed? Character Race Changed To African-American To Follow New 52 Origin!

We could see Wally West in the Flash TV series this fall but fans of the character who has not read his introduction to the New 52 would be surprised once Wally West has been introduced in the storyline.

Comic Central City has reported that CW allegedly hinted that Wally West would appear on the Flash TV series this season.

With the Flash TV series being heavily based on the New 52 incarnations of the characters and storylines, it can be expected that they would do the same for Wally West and this doesn’t bode too well for Wally West as DC comics has recently introduced Wally West in the comics and they’ve killed him soon after.

The reintroduction of Wally West in the New 52 DC universe has been met with mostly negative reactions from fans as DC comics has radically changed the character. The biggest changes to Wally West are:

-He is now an African-American

-He never got superpowers

-He was killed in an accident

It should be noted that the West family in The Flash TV series are African-Americans and should Wally West be introduced in the series, you can bet that he would be African-American as well. Maybe the other changes to his character would apply here too? With Wally West dying and Barry Allen not saving him in time could be a mini arc to story in Season 1 of The Flash TV series.
