“The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic” will reveal the true story behind the hit movie “Frozen” and hit song “Let It Go”.
You have probably sung and heard the song “Let It Go” a hundred times. You may have watched the movie several times as well. The song and flick were just a match-made-in-heaven that it
grossed 1.219 billion in worldwide box office, becoming the fifth highest grossing movie of all time. But did you know that Elsa is supposed to be a villain? This you have to know when you watch “The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic”.
ABC’s special will have loads of tidbits for all “Frozen” fans. It will showcase footage from the movie and several interviews with cast, including Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad. Disney Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter and the filmmaking team will share a lot of things about today’s insta-classic movie. The special will also include behind-the-scenes to let followers and viewers have an exclusive look on how the
biggest animated feature of all time was made.
ABC, viewers will be fortunate to see the inside of Walt Disney Animation Studios and to hear from the creative team that brought the characters and the movie to life. They will be fortunate to have a tour to the stunning Norwegian villages and landscapes, which serve as the inspiration to create the fantastic kingdom of Arendell.
Not to be missed out is the announcement of the next chapter of “Frozen” and a never-before-seen preview of the characters, “Anna”, “Elsa” and “Kristoff”, in the upcoming episode of ABC’s smash hit “Once Upon a Time”.
“The Story of Frozen” Making A Disney Animated Classic” showing Sept. 2 on ABC at 8pm ET will be hosted by Josh Gad, the voice behind the well-loved character of “Olaf”. It is produced by Lincoln Square Productions and directed by Rudy Bednar. Jeanmarie Condon is the senior executive producer.
