‘Thor 3’ Spoilers: ‘Thor’ Lead Chris Hemsworth Shares ‘Thor 3’ Plot; Thor Will Rip Loki’s Head Off; Fire Giant Surtur Will Destroy With His Sword Of Doom

There has been no official announcement about “Thor 3” but spoilers continue to spread like wildfire online.

In a

previous article, it has been said that Marvel  in January 2014 that “Thor” and “Thor: The Dark World” writer and SVP of Production and Development at Marvel Studios Craig Kyle will reprise his writing role for the next installment, along with longtime collaborator Christopher Yost.

“Thor” actor Chris Hemsworth has also expressed his thoughts about doing “Thor 3.”

In an article published on Screenrant, Hemsworth said:

“I think what’s good about this is that each time, with the Avengers, we sort of made it difficult to separate them each time there’s some sort of conflict it’s like where’s the rest of the team? And I liked that Thor has another universe or the universe to sort of take care of and keep him occupied. I think that in the comic book the sort of end of days, Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in. Where it’s sort of the end of all things and there’s obviously no script or anything when I read the comic books I thought it was an interesting way to go.”

He’s referring to the Ragnarok when he mentioned Armageddon.  Ragnarok is an apocalypse representing the end of Asgard.

“After ripping off his brother Loki’s head, Thor goes to Muspellheim to meet Surtur after he shattered his hammer and carrying his brother’s head,” an article in Fashion & Style said.

“The fire giant wants to know whether Thor wants a final battle, but Thor instead convinces Surtur to allow him to reforge his hammer,” the website added. “In exchange, Thor smashes down a mountain and lets Surtur lead his army of fire demons onto Asgard. The Norse Valhalla is consumed in fire.”

Surtur is the fire giant who destroyed Asgard in the comics.

A short description of Surtur in an article on Screenrant describes him as: “Standing over 1,000 feet tall, and capable of unleashing unstoppable attacks with his Sword of Doom, Surtur is as close to a walking apocalypse as you can get. With power even Thor can’t challenge, this tiny window into his world posed more of a risk than most will realize.”

“Thor 3” is slated to have a 2016 release date following another Marvel hit “The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.”
