Tina Fey and Jason Bateman have teamed up to make comedy magic in the trailer of their upcoming film “This is Where I Leave You.”
The movie, directed by Shawn Levy of “Date Night” and “Real Steel,” focuses on the reunion of four adult siblings who are brought together by the death of their father, according to the publication She Knows.
The dysfunctional family must spend a whole week together under the same roof to fulfill the dying wish of their father.
The impressive A-List cast includes Jane Fonda, who greets her kids with a new pair of “bionic breasts,” Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Corey Stoll and Adam Driver.
Additional cast members include Kathryn Hahn and Timothy Olyphant.
Tina Fey will be playing the big sister of the gang. The “30 Rock” star is seen punching Dax Shephard in the trailer as she hilariously shouts, “That’s the Princess cut!” exclamation.
The film is based on the book of the same name by Jonathan Tropper, who also wrote the film’s screenplay.
Tina Fey, Jason Bateman and several other stars joined Tropper to promote “This is Where I Leave You” at the first ever NYC BookCon.
During the promotion of the movie, Topper reportedly expressed that he would like to keep bringing movie stars on his book tours because, “I don’t get these kind of crowds,” according to USA Today.
The film is set for release on September 12, 2014.
