Tracy Morgan accident update reveals the actor/comedian is in critical condition after a vehicular accident at the New Jersey Turnpike, Saturday morning. The crash left one fatality, and four others injured.

the Tracy Morgan accident happened at 1am, ET after a tractor-trailer driven by Kevin Roper, a 35-year old Walmart employee, failed to stop on time and crashed on to the Mercedes limo bus carrying the Saturday Night Live stand-out and his companions.
“New Jersey State Police says the driver of the tractor-trailer failed to observe slow-moving traffic ahead,” said Sgt. Gregory Williams. “At the last minute, he swerved to try and avoid the Mercedes limo bus but struck it from behind, forcing the limo to rotate and overturn.”
63-year old James McNair, a comedian who performed under the name “Jimmy Mack”, was the lone fatality of during theTracy Morgan accident. Their other companions were taken to the hospital.
Walmart president and CEO Bill Simon already released an official statement on behalf of the company, citing that they will take full responsibility for the incident.
“This is a tragedy and we are profoundly sorry that one of our trucks was involved,” he said. “The facts are continuing to unfold. If it’s determined that our truck caused the accident, Walmart will take full responsibility.”
According to publicist Lewis Kay, Tracy Morgan sustained a number of injuries following the accident, including broken ribs, leg, and femur, and a broken nose. The actor has already undergone surgery for his leg on Sunday.
Lewis Kay did, however, point out that Tracy Morgan has shown more signs of responsiveness since the accident, but remains to be in critical condition.
“He has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign,” Kay said. “We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks.”
