Kim Soo Hyun topped a recent survey conducted by the Korean magazine, Woman Chosun , as the favorite young male celebrity of older women or “noonas.”
In the February 12 article, Woman Chosun published statistics gathered from 3050 Korean women who were questioned about their thoughts on relationships involving younger men and older women, which is referred to Korean as “dongsaeng” and “noona” interactions.
The 27-year-old “My Love from the Star” actor placed first amongst his peers, with 36 percent of participants selecting him for his appearance and personality.
In “My Love from the Star,” Kim wooed 34-year-old actress Jun Ji Hyun. He followed with the role of Baek Seung Chan, an intrepid television director who falls in love with his older co-worker in “Producer.”
37-year-old star Gong Hyo Jin portrayed the reluctant object of his affection, who willingly relinquished him for Cha Tae Hyun.

“Six Flying Dragons” actor, Yoo Ah In, placed second with 22 percent of respondents.
His role in the 2014 melodrama, “Secret Love Affair,” likely attracted the interest of older audiences, who were intrigued by his romance with Kim Hee Ae. There is a 19-year age difference between the two stars.
Hyun Bin received 15 percent of the vote, followed by Lee Jong Suk with 10 percent.
Hyun won the hearts of K-Drama viewers in “My Name is Kim Sam Soon” (My Lovely Sam Soon) while Lee delivered a captivating performance as a high-schooler who falls in love with an attorney in “I Can Hear Your Voice,” opposite Lee Bo Young.

The report cited Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah for their age difference, as a relationship that transitioned from their work as Giordano spokes models to real-life romance.
