The response to our imkpop.com poll has been enthusiastic and the winner of the best drama so far remains “Inspiring Generation” with 33.9 percent of the vote. Following close behind is “Three Days” at 20.71 percent of the vote and then “You Who Came From The Stars” with 18.98 percent. “You’re All Surrounded” achieved fourth place with 8.34 percent of the vote and the medical romcom “Emergency Couple” was in fifth place with 5.86 percent.
That’s interesting because if you were to line up those dramas by viewer ratings, “You Who Came From The Stars,” starring Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun, would come out on top. Its highest ratings were 28.1 percent. “Three Days,” starring Park Yoochun and Park Ha Sun, would be in second place with 13.8 percent of the ratings and “Inspiring Generation,” starring Kim Soo Hyun, would be close behind with 12.6 percent.
In the Best Actor category, Kim Jaejoong held on to first place. He now has a 31.48 percent rating for his performance as the street thug and gambler Heo Young Dal in “Triangle.”
Kim Hyun Joong follows with 29.7 percent for his role as streetfighter Shin Jung Tae in “Inspiring Generation.”
Park Yoochun follows with 14.06 percent for his role as bodyguard Han Tae Kyung in the political thriller “Three Days.”
Kim Soo Hyun is in fourth place with 8.92 percent for his role as the alien Do Min Joon in “You Who Came From The Stars.”
Lee Seung Gi is in fifth place with ratings of 5.76 for his role as the rookie detective Eun Dae Gu in “You’re All Surrounded.”
The only major change so far is in the Best Actress category. Yoona has been replaced by Gu Hye Sun as the frontrunner. Gu Hye Sun, the star of “Angel Eyes,” is up to 35.32 percent of the vote, ahead of Yoona, now at 21.71 percent of the vote for her performance in “The Prime Minister and I.”
In third place is Jun Ji Hyun, who played Hallyu star Chun Song Yi in “You Who Came From The Stars.” She has 14.95 percent of the vote.
In fourth place is Song Ji Hyo, who starred as divorcee doctor Jin Hee in “Emergency Couple” with Choi Jin Hyuk. Song Ji Hyo is also a popular regular on the variety show “Running Man.”
In fifth place is Ha Ji Won, the star of the 50-episode saeguk “Empress Ki.” She earned 5.12 percent of the vote.
